A ride around Carolina Motorsports Park

Slip on Growler Pipe.

Aftermarket parts, it's not a sin.

Summer Daze

So, I made it to the shop and got the new rear tire. Hopefully I'll be able to get it tomorrow or Friday, weather permitting of course. I try avoid the rain at all costs. It's not the greater risk factor influencing my decision, it's the hours of cleaning involved, after!

I decided to Stick with the Dunlop Sportmax for the new rear tire.
Man, I'm itching for summer.

Sticks and stones...

...I can handle, but getting a nail in my rear tire!? No way!

Unbelievably the weather is holding me back from getting the bike in the shop and I have to keep checking the tire to keep it inflated. If it comes off the rim I'm screwed.

Mt St Helens Ride 2009

(1st Attempt this year) I may have just gotten a little too excited and gone a little early.

Along with my wife on the back, we took off despite the inclimate weather. Sad to say, we had to turn around one mile from the final turnoff due to ice hitting my visor.

I wish I had taken the time to snap some shots but I was already freezing cold, and had to consider others safety.

I guess I'll give it another month.
